Currently based in Reno, NV, Alyssa Kleszyk is a dance teacher, dancer, and choreographer with a passion for inspiring growth through movement. With experience leading students of all ages, Alyssa creates an environment that balances discipline with creativity, focusing on technical precision, artistic expression, and fun. As a choreographer, Alyssa is known for crafting pieces that highlight storytelling, musicality, and connection. Whether in the studio or on stage, Alyssa strives to build confidence, artistry, and a deep appreciation for dance in every dancer.
About Me
Alyssa Kleszyk (She/Her) began dancing at the age of two and entered the world of competitive dance at five. She has trained in the styles of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, funk, musical theater, and aerial silks.
Over the years, she has performed in numerous productions, including The Nutcracker, FR Dance’s Library Series, and concerts alongside the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra. Notably, she had the opportunity to perform opening for the Martha Graham Dance Company. She remains active in the local arts community, regularly performing in community shows such as those with The Dapper Tappers and Snap Dance Project.
Alyssa began teaching dance at the age of 17 and joined the competition team as an instructor the following year. At age 19, she advanced into a leadership role as co-director of the team. She is passionate about mentoring young dancers and shares her love of dance through teaching and choreography
Her collegiate dance experience includes performances in the University of Nevada, Reno’s Fall Dance Festival, Spring Dance Concert, and Student Choreography Showcase, where she has also presented original choreography. Alyssa has received training in the Martha Graham technique under the guidance of Elizabeth Au Clair and has performed this technique, opening for the company.
